We encourage all prospective students and families to tour our campus and meet with staff in the Office of Admissions and Advancement. A typical tour is 45-60 minutes and includes MSMS academic buildings, Fant Memorial Library, and a model room in Frazer Residence Hall (all-male dorm). There is no model room in the all-female dorm.
Due to COVID-19 safety measures, guests may not enter classrooms or other spaces occupied by current students during the tour, and masks must be worn at all times indoors.
Campus tours are led by current seniors in the MSMS Emissary Program. The Emissaries are official school ambassadors who assist with student recruitment and serve as mentors to their junior peers. If Emissaries are unavailable due to academic obligations, the Coordinator for Admissions will happily conduct your tour.
Campus tours are offered every Monday through Friday between 10 am and 3 pm. Tours are not available on the following weekdays:
- October 29 (Preview Day*)
- November 22-26 (Thanksgiving Break)
- December 27-January 7 (Winter Break)
- January 22 (Preview Day*)
- March 14-18 (Spring Break)
Saturday tours are only offered on October 2 and November 13 on a space available basis.

*Preview Day is an open house recruitment event for current 10th graders who are interested in applying to MSMS for Fall 2022 enrollment. Both events are tentatively scheduled on a Friday from 1- 4 pm and will include campus tours. Registration for the October event will open late September. For more information, email Apply@themsms.org.
Prospective students who miss school to visit our campus may request an Excused Absence Letter from our Admissions Team. Most schools treat a visit to MSMS in the same manner as a college visit.
To make the most of your tour, we encourage you to explore our website in advance, including the Student Handbook, and make a list of any questions you would like answered by our Emissaries or Admissions staff.
