This past Saturday, December 14th, the MSMS wrestling team made an impressive showing at the Wave Invitational held at Tupelo High School. The event brought together teams from across Mississippi, Tennessee, and Alabama, all competing to showcase their skills on the mat.

One of the standout performances of the day came from Nina Weinstein (Class of 2026, Caledonia, MS), who dominated the female 152-pound weight class. Nina not only clinched 1st place but was also voted Most Outstanding Female Wrestler of the tournament. Her hard work and determination were clear as she overpowered her competition, earning well-deserved recognition for her efforts.

Other MSMS wrestlers who made their mark at the invitational include:

  • Shaw Prewitt (Class of 2026, Shannon, MS), who finished 4th in the male 165-pound weight class.
  • Enoch Clardy (Class of 2026, Amory, MS), who placed 6th in the male 157-pound weight class.
