MAKING STUFF AT THE MAKERS’ FAIRE

On October 1 and 2, students from the MSMS Engineering Club attended the Maker Faire in Decatur, GA. Maker Faire is a collaborative event that brings together makers, amateurs, and experts alike from across the region to share their skills and to build interest in innovation among the community. Students traveled to various tables and booths to learn about many skills and trades, including but not limited to nano-farming, aluminum molding, chicken farming, 3D printing, quilt weaving, and software developing.

“Overall, the experience was memorable and inspirational,” said MSMS student Vivian Van. “I have been inspired by the innovators to start creating things in our Engineering Club.”
